R.D.Penhall Ltd. History
Ron Penhall entered the printing and stationery industry
in 1954. His customers included companies in the Mining, Forestry and Engineering Fields.
As Ron tells the story...
"I was meeting with one of our customers – we were standing outside in a torrential downpour trying to take notes – a futile effort at best. That's when I thought – why isn't someone producing a waterproof paper?"
After considerable Research and Development DUKSBAK was born in 1971.
With Ron Penhall's well deserved retirement in 1998 – R.D.Penhall Ltd., under the ownership of his long-term employees, continues to grow with the development of new product lines as well as a coast to coast dealer network for its DUKSBAK products and Time-n-Tide Calendars and books that are for use in the Gulf of Georgia waters.
